Advent: yey the holiday spirit!

The advent calendars start their countdown soon. What does it mean? There are only three Sundays until Christmas!

Since Hungary is a traditionally Christian country, they celebrate Advent. A lot of people don't really approach it from the religious view but rather as a celebration because Advent has a calendar that lot of friends and family implement among themselves to surprise each other with small gifts, sweets and such on each day until Christmas. Christians usually lit up a candle on every Sunday.

With advent, the Christmas light and decorations around the city also comes to live. Even now, Budapest is sparkly!
